Calvary is seeing a continued movement shifting from inpatient Hospice care toward growth in the ambulatory Palliative/ Hospice Care programs. The Vice President, Community Patient Services is currently responsible for the operations of everything other than the inpatient “acute care” side of the enterprise. The focus is the strategy, development, and execution of programs.
Calvary is seeking a strategic and passionate experienced Hospice/Palliative care executive who can assess and develop the strategy, direction, and vision to position Calvary for continued excellence in growing ambulatory services for the future.
An effective candidate will be able to:
Engage teams in high quality innovative care, service excellence, and community engagement.
Assess and evaluate community needs through extensive outreach efforts and networking.
Identify and build additional programs and services to enhance the systems of palliative care.
Lead the development of defining palliative/hospice care in the NYC marketplace.
A few key attributes and experiences we are seeking include:
Extensive experience and knowledge of palliative care and hospice, especially in the outpatient/ambulatory settings.
Extensive experience in community outreach including enhancing program brand, developing a strong referral network, building relationships, and leading the operations.
A collaborative and transformational leader who will work well with all areas across the enterprise.
Qualifications can include a strong clinical background (nursing or physician) with the abilities and experiences mentioned above or a non-clinician who has the abilities and experiences mentioned above.
Salary is negotiable based upon experience.
